Rudolph was my New York Dad. When I moved to New York in 2007, Rudy and Alice took me in for 6 weeks until Rudy Jr. and I found a place to live. Rudy Jr. came later, so I lived with Rudy and Alice. Rudy Sr. and Alice were kind, gentle, understanding and so much fun. They took me in like I was their daughter. They helped me feel at home every day I was in their home, and then they made me welcomed into the family. I felt at home in their home with them. Rudy sr. is a true patriot, family man and friend. He knew how to have fun no matter the circumstance. He could find the positive about every person he met or knew. I trusted him and relied on him. I looked up to him as if he were my own father. I enjoyed every single moment I spent with him. He is my hero. He had many stories to tell and could captivate an audience with his stories. His laugh will be my favorite memory of him that I will cherish forever. You'll always be in my heart, Rudolph E. Reiber. I love you.
