Bette was such a sweet and generous lady! She volunteered at Taylor School and helped me greatly when I subbed for her classes. I always enjoyed her company at our retirement lunches and often saw her at daily mass. She certainly touched many lives, especially the lives of many children! Unfortunately, we will be out of state for her service but will be thinking of all of you.

We had many great times together, garage sales, volunteering at Lakeside, mass on Thursday followed by coffee and donuts at Tops and just recently Fri. Donuts that you would bring to the house because I was baby sitting.. There wasn't a day when we weren't on the phone to each other. You are going to be missed dear friend..I know you are happy where you are because you are joined again with your Bill.

My heartfelt sympathy, prayers for Bette's family. She was a thoughtful, caring, prayerful friend who was a beautiful example of living her Catholic faith. She extended her loving kindness, friendship to many.
She always saved room in her pew for me at Sunday Mass as d/t my hospital schedule, I was not always able to get there in a timely fashion. Knowing I too was a widow she shared reliable home repair sources with me,checking to make sure all worked out well. In Springtime, she would tease me that she had the best flowers as hummingbirds would appear at her home long before mine. Bette will be missed and always remembered in prayer and thought.
