Pat, I am so sorry to hear of Roger's passing. We met several years ago when his cousin Barbara was in town and they reunited. He was also one of my supervisers at B105. My prayers and condolences are with you.

I can remember when we were little and came to visit we always stayed at your house, i remember the big rock case you had and i always thought you were rich because you had diamonds! :) It warms my heart to know you are with Jesus right now... its not goodbye its God Speed and see you again one day. Uncle Roger - I will never forget the times I spent with you and Aunt Pat in my childhood years. On more than one occassion you brought me from Wanakena to your house on Rand Street, the time we went to Herkimer to look for diamonds was memorable to this day. You now are in a better place, free of pain and will be with Grandma and Grandpa. I'm sure you and my Dad are talking about your hunting days. Rest in Peace.

Roger- well you crossed over Jordan a little over 51 hours and I am guessing that by now you have caught up with Myron, Bert, Vena and I would venture to say you located William Palmer, so by now you probably have collected all the stories and family information that You, Pat and I searched so hard for these last 10 years!! Feel free to open a door here and there for us as we continue to put our family together! I will miss the visits at the kitchen table, a phone call that says"hi Barb, this is Roger, is tommy there" BUT I am so happy I was given the opportunity to speak with you Saturday.Please know that you will forever be in our hearts and thoughts and we will often tell the funny stories of our years together as the Sawyer family . So until we gather around that table in heaven.. Peaceful rest and dance with the Angel's, my friend.

Dad - I miss you already! I laughed when Curt shared with me that at one point on Thursday he asked you, "Dad would you like to PRAY with me" and you responded "Would I like to PLAY with you? Right Now??" This morning in preschool, you took my breath away when one of my 3 year olds asked, "Mrs. Russo would you like to play with me?" I know you were there just like you have always been. I was speechless but I believe it was at that moment that I realized you're not really gone. You will always be in my heart and a part of the air I breath until we meet again. Uncle Roger the one thing I will always remember is those long hugs you gave me every time I came home for a visit. I always felt like you were making sure I knew you loved me. Today I can still feel those hugs! I was blessed to have you in my life and I will miss you every day!
