To Joyce’s family and friends and especially Mary, I am so sorry for your loss. We will miss Joyce’s energy she put in each day as Mayor. I will miss our conversations and stories about the grandchildren. Joyce was a hard worker and go-getter as I got to know, working with her on canal events. She will be missed dearly by the village.

There aren't enough words to describe Joyce's love and commitment to her family, friends, church and community. I think of Joyce as "the little engine that could". To the wonderful family of Joyce Lobene. Joyce was a very special lady. She was like the energizer bunny. As mayor she left Spencerport a better place. She set out to accomplish something and always followed through. We were so lucky to have her working for all of us. I will miss seeing her in the village.
