Uncle Len sure had his wonderful endearing smile right to the last. I have nothing but admiration for him and his lovely Ruth and for the family he raised and the friendship and support we could all count on from him. They hardly make men like Leonard Gartland any more. It is with both sadness and joy that I write this.
