Obituary of Richard W. Marvin

Spencerport- Passed away peacefully at age 80 in Highland Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born and raised in Pennsylvania and is predeceased by his parents, Miriam (Fessler) and Richard Marvin, Sr. He is survived by his loving wife, Lois (Koch) Marvin; brother, Charles and Diane (Gregory) Marvin of Sayre, Pa; children, Jennifer (Anthony) Fourcault of Foss, Oklahoma, Richard & Michelle(Keenan) of Mishawaka, Indiana and Megan (Keith) Brisbane of Alexandria, Alabama; grandchildren, Benjamin and Joshua Marvin, Christopher Fourcault and Alexander Brisbane, a brother-in-law David (Julie Smead) Koch from Wisconsin, as well as many cousins, and his best fishing "bud" Carl Coleman of Spencerport, NY.

He retired from BOCES 2 after a career in the electronics field. He belonged to the Garbutt Rod and Gun Club and spent many happy hours fly fishing on Springbrook and Oatka Creeks. He also enjoyed working on projects In the past with the Spencerport Rotary Club. Dick spent many enjoyable hours traveling with Lois in their motor home around the US and Canada. They belonged to the Family Motor Coach Association and made many friends through FMCA.

He will be missed by his family and friends. A celebration of his life is planned for 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at the Spencerport Wesleyan Church, 2653 Nichols St Spencerport, NY 14559. The service will be streamed on the Spencerport Wesleyan Church Youtube channel.
