He accepted a position at Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, NY, where he worked for 34 years. Ray was a great family man and a loving husband and father. He married Helen “Betty” Nelson in 1955 and the couple had three children together. Ray was a social, active man who was deeply involved in church activities at the First Congregational (better known as the “White Church”) in Spencerport, the church choir for 57 years, as well as, the retired men’s group at the church, for the majority of his life. He enjoyed camping and trips to the Adirondacks with his family, as well as other family oriented activities.
