Obituary of Alfred Lehner

Lehner, Alfred Spencerport: October 29, 2016 at age 87, predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Edith (Kumpfel) Lehner; sister, Emma Gilch. Survived by his daughter, Linda (Jeffrey) Neal and son, Eric (Maria) Lehner; grandchildren, Zachary, Lauren, Stephanie & Jacqueline; sisters, Betty Hollmann, Theresa (Kurt) Fehrle, Julitta (Dieter) Schneck; and special friend, Tina Hundt. Alfred came to America in 1956 and married Edith Kumpful in 1958. He retired from Kodak after 27 years and was a longtime member of Der Verein der Donaudeutschen and the Germania Singers. To light a candle of remembrance, please visit www.walkerbrothersfh.com. Alfred’s visitation will be Friday 4-8 pm at the funeral home, 15 West Ave. Spencerport. His funeral mass will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Church, 55 Martha St., Spencerport on Saturday at 11:00 am. Interment in St. John’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hildebrandt Hospice Care, 2652 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY 14626 in Alfred’s memory.
