Obituary of Donald F. Dixon

Dixon, Donald F. "Don" Ogden: November 17, 2016; age 73. Don was surrounded by family & friends when he passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. Don is predeceased by his parents; Harold & Betty Dixon; father-in-law, Kenneth Heale, Sr.; brother-in-law, Gary Heale & sister-in-law, Dorothea Dixon. He is survived by his wife: June (Heale) Dixon; daughters; Donna (James) Napier & Sherry (Robert) Pullen; grandchildren; Kayla Dixon, Jacob Napier, Kyle Napier & Christian Pullen; Brothers; Robert (Phyllis) Dixon & David (Dorothy) Dixon; mother-in-law, Elizabeth (Bartz) Heale; brother-in-laws, Richard (Alice May) Heale & Kenneth (Anne) Heale, Jr.; sister-in-law, Sandra (John) Thompson; several nieces & nephews. Don retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Co. of Rochester after 40 years and also served 40 years with the Churchville Volunteer Fire Department. Visitation hours will be held Friday 4-8 PM at Walker Brothers Funeral Home, 15 West Ave., Spencerport, NY. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Saturday at Grace Church of The Nazarene, 2924 South Union Street. Interment Creekside Cemetery, Churchville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Don's memory to Interlakes Oncology, 1561 Long Pond Rd. #120, Rochester, NY 14626 or Churchville Volunteer Fire Department, 24 Washington St., Churchville, NY 14428.
