Obituary of Margaret Pedersen

Margaret Norman Pedersen passed away peacefully June 8th, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband Bob. She is survived by her children: Sharon Specksgoor (Michael), Patricia Merritt (Richard), and Paul Pedersen (Kristen) and grandchildren: Kory, Matthew, Nate, Gretchen, Megan, MacKenzie and Brennen.

Marge grew up in Saranac Lake loving the mountains and her roots growing up on a farm. There she married her high school sweetheart of 61 years. Her dream was always to go into the nursing field but delayed that while raising her three children. She went back to college later and fulfilled her aspirations by becoming a registered nurse and working in pediatric nursing care. Her hobbies included gardening, making antique reproduction dolls, raising her beloved shelties, and always her husband's and son's number one fan and supporter of their sporting events, especially hockey.

The family wishes to express their most sincere gratitude for the "angels" of the Presbyterian Church Home for their loving care. A private mass and celebration of Margaret's life was held at St. John the Evangelist Church in Spencerport.
