Alta J. Brew (Bovee)

On October 28, 2018 passed away peacefully at age 90.  Predeceased by her husband, Jack of 70 years; parents, Kenneth and Irene Bovee, 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Survived by her daughter, Terry Howie; son, Craig (Deborah); nephew, Randy (Debra) Bovee; brother in law, Tom Brew; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Alta was a retiree of the Churchville Chili School District where she worked as a Secretary to the High School Principal for 30 years. She thoroughly enjoyed interaction with the students and her colleagues there. 

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, November2, from 4-6 pm at the funeral home, 21 S. Main St. Churchville. A graveside ceremony will be held at Creekside Cemetery, 40 N. Main St. Churchville,  Saturday, November 3 at 11:30am.

In lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd,  Rochester, NY 14620 in Alta’s memory.
