June was born on September 7, 1955 in Rochester, NY. Growing up, she loved swimming, as well as all types of animals. When she was a young child, June and her sister Cheri would go swimming in a little creek and occasionally they would run into water snakes, which would send them screaming and running. June and her father would spend time having fun little debates about many different topics. During her school years, June made the Deans List at SUNY Brockport. It was at this time that June developed a love of going to church, spending time with the youth group, and singing in the choir.

June’s career and passion revolved around working with children. She worked in the childcare field for the greater part of 30+ years. Whether it was instructing classes, certifying in home daycare providers, or teaching in the classroom, June always found joy working with children. Throughout her career, she experienced traveling to San Francisco, as well as New York City for childcare events. She loved taking pictures and bringing home souvenirs from these events.

June was the proud mother of Douglas and Jamie. She also loved her cats that she had growing up. June left behind a gorgeous six-year-old cat named "Mittens" who would often snuggle up with June when she would come home from chemo and radiation treatments. They shared a bond that was unbreakable. June loved lighthouses and cherished spending a lot of time at the beach. Often times, June and Jamie attended bible studies and fun events at their church, Petra Christian Fellowship. In June's off-time, she LOVED watching Grey's Anatomy continuously on Netflix, as well as challenging many friends in the well-known Facebook game, Songpop.

June often had a very positive outlook on life. She loved to laugh and was always ready to hear a good joke. June can be described as strong, intelligent, sincere, hard-working and humorous. She will be dearly missed and always fondly remembered by her family and friends.
