I have known DICK since we were in grammar School at OLPH School On Joseph Ave. Dick and I and Jim too were altar boys together, in Cub scouts and Boy Scouts as well and I went to high school with Dick and Jim at McQuaid first graduating class '58. Since I left Rochester after college we haven't had any contact but I remember years of association with Dick and Jim and Bill. This time comes to all of us and the best that we leave behind is a loving family and other generations to carry on the legacy of life. From my reading of Dick's life here since we lost contact, he has been able to achieve a wonderful legacy and I am proud to have been a friend of his during that life! One photo attached is from OLPH School in fourth Grade 1949 (Dick Circled,) Sister Valerian's Class room 1949. Also is our 1954 graduation photo and also a picture of both Dick and Jim as Juniors at McQuaid in 1957. I had the privilege of meeting Dick while I worked at Seton Catholic Pre-K. He was the maintenance worker there. His kind peaceful presence, and true concern for the children and staff were very evident. A word or two with him always brightened my day. Sometimes I think of those days at Seton, and out of all the people there, the memory of Dick often comes to mind. I wish all of his family, who I know he loved very much, peace and my sincere condolences. Sharon Griffiths

Daddy, I love you with my whole heart. I don’t know how life is going to go on without you. You made our family.... A FAMILY. You were the epitome of what a selfless, caring, kind hearted person should be. You would do anything for anyone ALWAYS with a smile on your face and never a bad word to say. Our deepest sympathy is sent to the Kuhn Family from Bruce, Pam, EJ , Julia and Kate Baker. We are a "Seton" Family. I was President of the Advisory Board under Sr. Kay Lurz for several years. I was able to work with Mr. Kuhn on many projects and it was always a joy. He was such a gift to Seton. Our girls are all grown now and when I told them of his passing one of our daughters said " He was the nicest man and did everything for us". He touched so many lives and he will be missed.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Richard Kuhn. Everyone says he would do anything for anyone and it was true. Years ago I had no brakes on my car and he fixed them for me, He did it out of the kindness of his heart and I'll never forget that. The Lord is close to those brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Dick was a loving, funny, super nice man. He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. Our love, thoughts and prayers are will all of his family.
