Passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at age 95. She is predeceased by her husband, John P. Snyder Sr.; parents, James A. Bergin and Mary P. Bergin; her brothers, James D. Bergin, Eugene W. Bergin and her nephew, Daniel P. Bergin. Doris is survived by her devoted son, John P. Snyder Jr., many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Dorie was an art teacher in the Churchville Schools for many years, she was the past President of the Churchville Library Board and was instrumental in getting the addition on the Library. She loved gardening, cats, playing bridge and will be remembered for her kindness, wonderful smile and scintillating conversation.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anne Church, Rochester, NY in the spring/summer 2021.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sisters of St. Joseph Neighborhood Center, 417 South Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620.
Interment will be private.
