Obituary of Hans Herbert Martens

Peacefully on February 28, 2021 at age 67. Predeceased by his parents, Otto & Anneliese Martens; son, Nicholas Martens; noisy companion, Bellie. Survived by his wonderful wife, Karen (Papa) Martens; children, Erik (Shanan Smith) Martens, Kathryn (Shaun) White; His favorite people called him Poppy, his grandchildren, Dominik Martens, Anneliese Martens, Taya Palmesano, Charlotte White, Aubrey White, Baby Boy White;

brother-in-law, Peter (Renee) Papa; nephew, John (Kristina) Papa.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 3rd from 10:00-12:00 PM at the funeral home with his Funeral Service directly following at 12:00 PM. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. 

Hans was President of the Spencerport Lions Club. He retired from Monroe Extinguisher, Rochester, NY. One of his favorite places to visit with his family was Old Forge.
