Obituary of Elmer "Tod" MacIntyre

Passed away March 24th, 2021 at the age of 93. Predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law, Louise & George Swarthout, sister, Suzanne Bradshaw, brother-in-law, Joseph Schmidt. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; his children, Kathryn (Tina) MacIntyre-Yee, Glenn (Joanne) MacIntyre, Elizabeth (Michael) Finear, Amy MacIntyre; grandchildren, Michelle (Joe Silvaggi) Candelaria, Ilean Beavers, Ada MacIntyre-Yee; great grandchildren, Jayden, Evan Candelaria, Silas Gilchrist; sister, Irene Schmidt and several nieces & nephews.

 

Elmer served on the DD703 Wallace L. Lind during the Korean War and then enjoyed several “ship reunions” at various places. He was employed by Delco for 41 years and past Commander at Harvey C. Noone Post 954.

 

Visitation will be Monday, March 29th from 4:00-7:00 pm at the funeral home, 21 S. Main St. Churchville, please reserve a time with the family.  As per NYS rules please wear a mask for visitation.

 

Graveside service on March 30th, 11:00 am at Creekside Cemetery, 40 N. Main St. Churchville.
