I took care of Don at elderwood and he was such a special man to me! He made my days at work so much brighter. I always called him “Mr. Trump”
I am so sorry for your family’s loss.

My heart aches for your family's loss. So many great memories of Don, and his family! The "Offstage Acting Company" was one of the the best times of my life!! Don was inclusive of everyone. From reading the scripts of "Host to a Ghost", "The Cinderella Scene", and others. I've never laughed so hard in my life! The "gang", from the White Church learned life lessons, that we still feel today. Almost 40 years later, most of the former cast are still friends. That's something to be said in this day and age. Those were awesome days growing up in a small town. I wouldn't change a thing. Don brought us together. Gave us characters outside our comfort zones, and we laughed. God how we laughed! The best part was...we made everyone laugh!!! Till Valhalla....

Very sorry to hear the news of Don's passing. He was an awesome boss, co-worker & mentor. I worked with Don at Kodak for 15 years. He was a gentleman and a gentle leader. His creativity was endless and his passion for not putting up with BS was admirable. It was a privilege to work with Don. My sincere condolences to Gay and the family.

My deepest sympathies to Gay and the family. He was such an important person in my life and the lives of the group of kids that grew up in the 70's and attended the White Church. He started a youth group that met in the basement and he made it cool to hang out and talk "real" about religion and life. His gifts in the plays we did at the church as the director, writer, make up, set designer, etc. brought joy and laughter to the community. He was a Patriot having served his country and he was the cool adult with an infectious laugh. He is now at peace with my dad and other "Friends and Lovers" alumni with God.
