Obituary of Geraldine Ammering

Gerry was predeceased by her husband, Mark H. Ammering and her daughter, Barbara Tranello. She is survived by her loving family, sons Daniel, James and Michael Ammering; daughters Kathleen (Jerry) Hugelmaier and Susan (Anthony) Uttaro; her sister, Pat Fitzpatrick; brother, R. Michael (Lynne) Fitzpatrick; 7 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Gerry was a graduate of Nazareth Academy class of 1945. She was a charter member of the Spencerport Volunteer Ambulance Corps and was very active in St. John the Evangelist parish, specifically Lazarus Ministry. She once worked for the "Spencerport Star" and retired from General Code Publishers as Vice President of that corporation. Gerry was loved by all who knew her and the world was a better place when she was in it. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.
