Maureen, I think of those days when you and Chuck would visit our home in Camillus. You, Chuck,Linn, my parents and I would sit at the kitchen table and solve the world's problems. Although you could voice a firm opinion, you, in your quiet way, were usually the moderating reasonable voice. In cold weather Michael and and our kids, including your name sake, would come in to get warm by standing aound "Dolly",our small old but hot wood stove that kept the kitchen warm. Once warmed they would troop through the old rambling farm house playing and investigating its nooks and crannies. I think too of those great family get-togethers at your home south of Jamesville. The food was great and plentiful with all we could eat. The conversations flourished, while kids all played and ran around having a grand time. Maureen, you have left us with fond and cherished memories. Thank you. Bill Morgan

Aunt Maureen, I will miss you dearly. I have many fond memories of growing up with you and Micheal. I also recall your visit to CA with uncle Chuck, we had much fun visiting San Francisco and James Lic observatory. I'm glad I had the chance to visit you last summer at uncle Bill and aunt Sue's home. And later got to see all of the beautiful quilts that you had made at your apartment.:) Although you are now gone, I will never forget you! Love, John

It is great sadness to me that I wasn't able to be there for our calling hours and our last few days. The memories of the times we spent at Jamesville Beach Park working and Jamesville Quitter’s. The Halloween Parties at the French’s were happy times for all of us. She was a great friend to all who knew her. She will always be alive and strong in are hearts.

Dear Maureen, Words cannot express my feelings for you Maureen and for my sense of loss.Although we were cousins we were just like sisters, and I used to tell our daughter Maureen (your name sake) that you were her cousin-aunt. Your creativity and gentleness live on in our own children. Love Linny.

It is in great sadness to me that I wasn't able to be there for Aunt (cousin) Maureen's last few days. The memories of growing up with Maureen are vivid and happy. I have always cherished my time with her creating pottery Christmas ornaments, working craft fares, fun sleep overs, picnics, and pool parties. She is a true inspiration to me and all who knew her. She will always be alive and strong in my heart. I love you Aunt Maureen :)

Dear Aunt Maureen, I am going to miss you. I have such great memories of you and your kind and generous heart. I remember as a kid sitting under the table and listening to you and mom talk about life over a pot of coffee. I remember summers at your house. It was always full of animals, fun and love. You and Uncle Chuck were such a part of our tapestry of life growing up. I am truly grateful for your love and I am going to miss you. Please give Uncle Chuck a hug from me.

It is with great sadness that the Class of '61, Syracuse Central Technical HS, notes the passing of our friend and classmate, Maureen. She was a fine girl who grew into an outstanding woman. Her mother was one of our teachers and we were always grateful that both of them played such pivotal roles in our youth. Maureen's family is in our prayers.
