I just found out about Nancy's passing. As a young boy, I delivered the paper to her family as well as grew up and was friends with her son Doug. She was always a very caring wonderful woman and a great mother. I offer condolences and pray for her family to get through this tough time.

Hi Roger, Just received an e-mail from Sara Rich about your wife Nancy. I do remember you telling the class at one of our reunions that Nancy had some medical issues. I remember how lovingly and fondly you spoke of her, and I'll be thinking of you in the upcoming days. Know you are very special to me, and to many others too. Joanne

Mr. Dart and family, Nancy and I became friends, the first time we met. I tried to stay close no matter where she was. We had long talks about family and life. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Her kind words truly made a stronger nurse in me. I will forever cherish the short time we had together

Nancy was so sweet and such a dear person. One Mother's Day she gave me a lovely pale green rock with a purple flower carved in the center. I have always loved my gift and now it will be even more special. My deepest condolences are being sent to Roger and family hoping your fondest memories will give you comfort. Love, Wendy

Nancy was a wonderful person. I will always remember as a young boy playing with Doug at Nancy and Rogers's house on Buffalo Road. Nancy had a great sense of humor and was the most caring person you could ever know. Heaven has just become more enriched.

It was with surprise and sadness that I read of Nancy's death. I have always counted Nancy as one of my closest friends when I was pastor of Union Church, Churchville. We worked so well together on The InterChurch Planning Council of Riga, especially in getting The Bed Race for Hunger organized and underway, and then keeping it going for many years. I had a great time with Nancy when we created The Black Creek Community Players. Many were the times of great laughter...and frustration as we made determinations of what play to prsent next, arrange for a director, cast the play and proceed with all the attendant arrangements. One of my fondest memories of all was when Nancy and I did a one act play, "I'm Herbert." I was Herbert, Nancy was Grace my wife. We sat on a porch in rocking chairs reminiscing about things we did together which we had never done together but with previous spouses. The script was incredibly involved. Nancy and I would break down in uncontrollable laughter as we tried to get out lines right....I don't know that we ever did, but we had a great time rehearsing the play and doing it, too. There never was a more compassionate human being than Nancy. When I came out as a gay man, Nancy was very supportive of me when so many in the community were anything but that. Nancy's body is now no longer alive, but I'm here to affirm that her spirit is very much alive in the lives of the many people her life over the years has touched. Nancy, I love you. Thank you for being the person God created you to be. Sincerely, Roger Reed

I've known Nancy and her family all of my life. She has been like my second Mother. We worked together for 6 years and she made the job very fun. She was extremely patient with me when I was learning the job. She was one of the most easy going people I've ever met. We had lots of laughs together about our "clientele". She is one of the most caring, kind, and loving people I have ever known. She was such a good listener and sooo encouraging and supportive to me during some of the most turbulent times of my life. I love you Nance.
