Obituary of Darci Degnan

"Dar Dar", "Princess D" and "D-Woman" Spencerport: Monday March 7, 2011 at the age of 21. Darci is survived by her daughters, Alexa and Ava Cliff; her loving father, Dave (Sue Elphick) Degnan, her adoring and loving mother, Kay (Jim Bishoff) Degnan; her sister, Ann-Marie Degnan; grandparents, Joe Degnan, Donna (Robert) Spaulding, Lou and Ann Fien; Shaun, Brian and Marge Cliff, Alexa and Ava's Grandma and very close and dear friend of Darci's; aunts, uncles, cousins and so many loving, close and dear friends. Darci was a 2008 graduate of Spencerport High School, where she played Volley Ball as a 4 year starter. She was working at the Chili Target while enrolled in the MCC Nursing Program. Darci is best described by her family as passionate, outgoing, having an absolutely contagious laugh and unique in every sense of the word! A vivid memory for Darci's family is how her English Teacher, Mr. Rice said "You think out of the box" which is what made her own person. Friend and Sister Ann-Marie, who shares the same tattoo script "There is no better friend than a sister." Which is no surprise that friends were a passionate part of Darci's life and love abounds to her special and close friends, Kate, Laura, Matt, Rachael, Lindsey and TJ & so many, many more too numerous to mention. Darci's visitation will be held Thursday 4-8 PM at Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home Inc., 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 & Long Pond) Rochester, NY 14626. Darci's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church 55 Martha Street, Spencerport, NY 14559. Interment Parma Corners Cemetery.
