Obituary of Eugene Ehrmentraut

Peacefully with family by his side on Thursday March 22, 2012 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 63 years, Monica Ehrmentraut, granddaughter, Erin Marie Keenan and daughter-in-law, Margaret (Haak) Ehrmentraut. He is survived by his children, Eugene J. (Margaret) Ehrmentraut, Suzanne (Jim) Keenan, Jim Ehrmentraut, Patti Ehrmentraut and Robert (Stacy) Ehrmentraut; grandchildren, Jesse (Lisa) Keenan, Nickie (John) Anadio, Josh Keenan, Lindsay (Adam) Vogler, Lauren (Ryan) Musshafen, Holden and Shelby Ehrmentraut; 3 great-granddaughters; sister, Catherine Dobbertin; brothers-in-law, William and George Steimer; sister-in-law, Ceal Steimer; many nieces and nephews. Gene was a life long member of St. Vincent DePaul Church and a 40 year member of the Town of Riga Planning Board and a chairman for many of those years. The family sends a special Thank You to the staff at Monroe Community Hospital from (4c & 5) of the Faith Building. Friends are invited to attend Gene's Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM on Saturday March 31, 2012 at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 11 N. Main Street, Churchville, NY 14428. Interment St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery.
