Obituary of Eugene Hagemann

Born March 24, 1922 in Nashau, NH & died on January 16, 2012 at the age of 89. Gene was predeceased by his parents, brothers & sister. Gene is survived by his wife, Florence; children, Suzanne (Edward) Duba, Philip (Rebecca) Hagemann & Nancy Moker; grandchildren, Jarka Duba, Johan (Cindy) Duba, Jette (James) Glazer, Tracie & Travis (Ale) Swalbach, Bryan, Emily, Wendy & Gavyn Hagemann; great-grandchildren, Summer & Landon Duba, Helen Glazer; granddogs, Daisy, Max, Molly, Izzy, Bodie & Xyena. Gene resided in Huntington, Long Island until he retired to Hawley, PA. He most recently was a resident of Spencerport, where he & Florence Florence spent time with the Senior Center. Gene was an Airforce machinist who fought in WWII, as well as dedicated husband, father & grandfather. He enjoyed "tinkering" with woodworking and clock repair. Gene also enjoyed square dancing and listening to Lawrence Welk.
