Leslie was a WWII Veteran. He was in the Army from 1942 to 1945. He spent a lot of time in Asia, and he received a Bronze Star. He was close with all of his coworkers at Tanner Line Construction. He worked there for 33 years.
Leslie's hobbies were owning and admiring cars, he was a Yankee's fan. He loved dogs and gardening, and was always taking pictures. Loved the outdoors, and went hunting in his earlier years. He played euchre, was an Amerk fan and a season ticket holder. He loved Betty Ann's cooking, especially spaghetti.
He was an even tempered man, enjoyed spending time at home, he was very supportive of his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren. He had many friends at Wellington Woods. Made lifelong friends, but did so slowly. He was a hard working man, a mans man and reliable. Family was most important to him. He was passionate about his wife, Ruth. He enjoyed Christmas with his family.
Leslie will be missed by all who knew him.
