Obituary of Warren Mahle
N. Chili: June 23, 2011. Warren is predeceased by his wife, Norma A. Mahle, son, Kenneth Mahle; and brothers, Berkeley, Glenn and Morris Mahle. He is survived by his son, Norman (Sharon) Mahle; daughter, Marjorie (Philip) Prouty; grandchildren, Leanne (Erik) Bushart, Wesley (Amanda) Mahle, Kimberly (Yale) Leupold, Cory (Rebecca) Mahle, Christine (Glenn) Rowan, Darrell Mahle, Paul Mahle and Kevin (Jenna) Mahle; Great-grandchildren, Hannah, Olivia Bushart,Victoria, Gavin, Grace, Carter Mahle, Aleena Rowen, Reese Mahle, Morgan, Leah & Kora Leupold; sister, Gertrude Grammatica; brother, Bentley Mahle; several nieces & nephews.
Warren's visitation will be held Saturday 12-3 PM at the funeral home, 15 West Ave. in Spencerport. His funeral service will be celebrated 2 PM Sunday at the Grace Church of the Nazarene. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Church of the Nazarene, 2924 South Union St., Rochester, NY 14624 in Warren's memory.
Warren served in WWII in the army as a Sergeant and a Gun Instructor. He saw combat and survived a plane crash. His religious activities included, song leader, he was on the church board, and he went on missions in Bolivia to assist in building a church there.
Warren's favorite music was of Johnny Cash and country western. He was most active playing his guitar. He volunteered at Open Door Mission. He was a Tool Grinder at Alliance Tool & Die, where he was head of the Grinding Department. He worked as a Bulldozer Operator, and worked in Coal Mines in Pennsylvania.
Warren enjoyed wrestling in High School. His hobbies were, playing his guitar and his harmonica. He liked hunting, gardening, fishing, the outdoors. He was a champion checker player, and enjoyed playing cards. The most enjoyment in his life was Church.
He had a great sense of humor. He could here a word and could make it into a joke. Best way to describe Warren, was he was handy, he liked fixing cars, he liked carpentry, he was supportive, generous, intelligent, and he was strong physically.
