A special Thank You Dr. John Robb, all Nursing Staff and Techs., at Unity and St. Marys' Hospital. And he did it his way. Joe did allot of things his way! Joe loved to sing and Sinatra, of course, was one of his favorites. Barbra Streisand and Elvis were on that list as well. Joe was known for "touching things he shouldn't" such as Handyman projects (with all the tools to do the job) and things like Fire Alarms! He was asked, "Why would you pull the Fire Alarm, in a Nursing Home?" "Because it was there," he said. In the early days Joe loved to ride snowmobiles. This love of the outdoors grew into a Family Canadian Retreat at Shalamar Lake for over 30 years. Included in these passions, would be camping, his love of cooking especially his homemade sausage and meatballs. Joe made many friends along the way, including Jake, Bob, John and Johnny D. His love of the outdoors and all of his favorite activities were out done by his love of his wife, children and his grandchildren. Joes love and zest for life was and will always be how he will be remembered. Joes visitation will be held on Monday 4 - 7 PM at Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home, 1411 Vintage Lane Rochester, NY 14626, where a Funeral Service will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:30 AM.
