Obituary of Frank McClain

Churchville: In loving memory of Frank Hunter McClain- husband of Sherry McClain, and father to Marshall and Marcy McClain. Frank passed on September 11, 2011 at age 65. He is preceded by his father Fred H. McClain, Jr and his mother Elma (Locke) McClain. He is survived by his twin brother- and best friend- Fred L. McClain and family (Sandy, Melissa, Tom, Marie, Nathaniel, and Norah). Frank was active throughout his life in the Boys Scouts of America. He was an avid outdoorsman with a particular love for canoeing. His times on the water and in nature were probably the most peaceful of his life. He is also a member of the Masonic Order Wakan-Hubbard Lodge No. 154. He will be remembered for his honesty, integrity, and his surprising sense of humor. Friends are welcome to Frank's visitation WEDNESDAY 6:00-8:30 PM at Walker Bros Co. Funeral Home 21 S. Main St. Churchville, NY 14428. A remembrance service will follow visitation at 8:30PM. Burial services will be for family members only.
