Years back I remember meeting Heddy in Spencerport when Ellen came for a visit. She was so sweet and made me feel so welcomed at her home. Ellen and I have been friends since we worked at RG&E many years ago. My husband John and I send our condolences to you and your whole family. I met Hedy in 1960, when I was 10. But she had known the Glende family since the early 1930's. Hedy and my Dad walked to Kindergarten together in 1932. From Hedy I learned how very important family is. There must be joy and laughter in Heaven, now that she is Home.

I am truly saddened by the passing of such a wonderful woman. Heddy would always make you feel welcome, loved and a part of the family. She was always full of kind words and compassion for anyone lucky enough to meet her. My deepest sympathies go out to the entire McGarry family. Heddy will truly be missed.
