Merles, your Mom was so awesome. The best! Always laughing, always positive, and was always so nice to me. How many times did I babysit you all (up to Ross)! And I would wonder "how does Rose do it?" (that went for my mom too with 6) But then there were more! She and your dad were absolutely the nicest people I ever met (remember your dad and I serenaded the neighborhood with our trombones?) Not to mention how beautiful she was. I will always have fond memories of both your parents and your whole family!

Dear Merle Family, We are so sorry to hear of Rose's passing. Your extended family is a testament to her love and devotion. She and Bob were both very special, and we will always remember their leadership in the early days of St. Mark's church, as well as the small prayerful gatherings they held at their home. In our sadnes we can be comforted by the fact that they are united again. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you!

Dear Merle Family: I am deeply saddened to learn of Rose's passing. She was a truly caring and special person, who always had a smile and positive attitude. It was my honor and privilege to know her and to care for her. She will be greatly missed! We always found time to chat about all sorts of topics beyond medicine from pool cleaning barracudas to Army Navy games and there was always a big hug involved with every visit.
