My Uncle Dave was a very warm and loving man. I'll always remember his soft voice and kind ways. I like to think I got my own love of animals from him. My mom, his sister June, loved him and protected him since he was younger than she. She told us as a child some bad boys pushed him off a bridge into a creek. I'm sure she beat those boys for their cruelty. Uncle Dave will be remembered with much love.
