Obituary of Theresa O'Marra

Thursday October 20, 2011 at the age of 84. Theresa was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Richard T. O'Marra and grandson, David O'Marra. She is survived by her children, Richard G. (Reenie), Thomas P. (Patricia) and Timothy J. (Jana) O'Marra; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; siblings, Ida Bromka and Thomas (Janet) McGuire; daughters-in-law, Gwynne and Jan O'Marra, Judy Bond and Deborah White. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a time and date to be announced. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Those wishing to send expressions of sympathy please consider Lakeside Beikirch Care Center, 170 West Avenue, Brockport, NY 14420 in Theresa's memory. Theresa was born in Ovid, NY on June 28, 1927. She was a member of St. Vincent of Churchville, NY since 1963 and was a choir member. She was employed as a medical secretary for Dr. Mahanger in Churchville. She was a drum majorette, she enjoyed music like, Irish Hymns, "Danny Boy" & "Little Drummer Boy". The things that Theresa enjoyed were cooking and travel. The most enjoyment was of her grandchildren. The best way to describe Theresa is that she was loving, caring, a great mother, grandmother & Great-grandmother. Theresa will be missed.
