I have very fond memories of Ed and he will be missed. We met at the Rochester Chess Center many years ago, and enjoyed conversation and our chess games. From all of us at the Rochester Chess Center/Community Chess Club of Rochester, we offer our sincere condolences to Ed’s brother David and all of Ed’s family. We recently sent Ed a package with a chess mug with his name on it and also some books which we hoped would cheer him up. We always were thinking about Ed and missed him at the chess club where he had many friends, and we are sorry to hear of Ed’s passing.
