Obituary of Jesse Read

November 29, 2011. Predeceased by his father, Wilbur Read. Survived by his wife, Gloria A. Read; children, Tracy (Terry), Jeffrey ( Shanaz), Scot (Lisa) & Denise (Charles) Coco; mother, Sara Read, grandchildren, Randi (Hunter) Wagner, Sara, Haley, Tracy, Zoe, Jeffrey, Elaina, Samantha & CJ; sister, Elizabeth Adams; brother, Wilbur (June) Read; sisters-in-law, Barbara (Bruce) Casher, Virginia Lauder, Helen (William) Hoover, Diane (Allen) Kennedy & Sharon Shaw; many nieces & nephews. Jesse's visitation will be held 5-8PM on Friday & 10-11AM Saturday at the funeral home, 21 S. Main St. in Churchville. His funeral service will be celebrated 11AM on Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 7, Syracuse NY 13057 in Jesse's memory. Jesse was retired from the Roofer's Local #22, he worked from 1957-1993. He was in AA and the Roofers Union. Jesse loved fishing, horseshoes, reading, cooking and John Wayne. The best way to describe Jesse is that he was a quiet person.
