Obituary of Marion Shelton

Shelton, Marion H. Churchville: Thursday October 13, 2011 at the age of 47. Marion was predeceased by her father, Charles Fletcher. She is survived by her mother, Helen Fletcher; her sisters, Kathy (LeRoy) Earsing and Carol Fletcher; her nieces and nephews, LeRoy, Samantha and KayLee Earsing, Jessica (Michael) Denning, David (Roseline) Nesbitt and Jody Townley; brother-in-law, Michael Nesbitt; 4 great nieces and 1 great nephew; many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Marion's visitation will be held Monday 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 21 S. Main Street, Churchville, NY 14428, where Funeral Services will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday. Interment Creekside Cemetery. Those wishing to send expressions of sympathy, please consider Churchville Ambulance or Union Congregational UCC of Churchville. Marion was Baptised- confirmed in Union Congregational UCC. She was in a band and in the colorguard, a vounteer in the Fire Dept. and was a Churchville Ambulance EMT. Marion became a Licensed Practical Nurse, and she graduated in 1983. She worked at Rochester General Hospital, St. Mary's Hospital-EMT and at the Hurlbut Nursing Home. Marion enjoyed country western music. She aslo enjoyed playing board games with her Mom and friends. She liked Weddings, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Her hobbies consisted of crocheting and making afghans. What gave her the most enjoyment in her life was being with her nieces, nephews and her cousins and helping to care for "foster children". The causes that she was most passionate about was, Cancer & Lung. The best way to describe Marion is that she was compassionate, caring and she loved to help others.
