Obituary of Patricia Miles

Spencerport: July 11, 2013. Survived by her husband, Marvin O. Miles; sons, Jeffrey (Carla Milonni) & Christopher (Michelle Hoch) Miles; sister, Kathleen (Thomas) Habel; grandchildren, Cody & Autumn Miles; sister-in-law, Judy Van Gemert; brother-in-law, Nelson (Gail) Miles; several nieces & nephews. Patricia's memorial visitation will be held 5-7PM on Monday at the funeral home, 15 West Ave. in Spencerport. Her funeral service will follow at 7PM. Interment at the convenience of the family. Donations may be sent to a charity of your choice. Patricia was born on August 25, 1941 to Arnold and Mary Pershing and grew up in Spencerport and graduated from Spencerport High School in 1959. While in high school, she was a cheerleader and a member of the choir. She chased Marvin until HE caught HER and on June 30, 2013, they celebrated 51 years of marriage. Together they raised their two sons, Jeffrey & Christopher, of whom she was very proud. Also a great joy to her were her two grandchildren, Cody & Autumn. Patricia was a graduate of the Rochester Business Institute. She loved to vacation and check out historical homes in Virginia. Some of her other favorite activities included many years of cross stitching and she loved to work in her rose garden. She had a great interest in cooking and TV programs, which gave her many recipes to experiment with. She was a great cook! Friends and family would best describe Patricia as being very direct about her life, but also having a softer side. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
