Donald's Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM Tuesday at St. John The Evangelist Church, Spencerport. Interment at St. John Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. John The Evangelist Church, 55 Martha Street, Spencerport, NY 14559 or a charity of your choice in Don's Memory
Donald was born on December 5, 1921 in Rochester, New York. He was one of twelve children. Donald graduated from Edison Tech. He joined the Army from 1943-1945 then worked at Eastman Kodak for 40 years in their film division. Donald meet his wife, Margaret at a dance hall and were married at St. John The Evangelist Church in Greece, NY. Donald was a caregiver to his wife, Margaret for 35 years.
Donald was very hard working, and very active at church. He volunteered at church and worked bingo and many church picnics. He was very handy. He was a Buffalo Bills and Notre Dame Football fan. He enjoyed watching the Red Skelton TV show.
Family and friends would best describe Donald as quiet, giving to others, reliable, trustworthy, kind, charitable, responsible, well liked. Donald was frugal and witty. Family, Religion, and work were very important to Donald.
