We know how special Grandma Viona was to all the family. She was a wonderful lady. She will be missed by all, especially my sister Brooke, Brother-In-Law Don Davis and Jonathan and Megan. We pray for you now as she goes to be with God. Love from Minnesota:)

My family and I have many happy memories of your mom and family at the cottage. Lil, Midge and Doris... we used to walk down the beach singing Scout songs! God Bless you Midge, thanks for the memories I'll cherish forever. I hope you and my mom are sitting by a lake, laughing and enjoying the view!

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Viona was a wonderful lady I always enjoyed talking with her. My daughters always remembered her because she would want us to visit her when we had girl scout cookies. May she rest in peace and know she will be missed by many. I hope the comfort of family and friends are with you at this time.

I remember all the summers spent at Seneca Lake. The hikes that the Wahls and Davis clans would take up and down the beaches. Mostly I remember my mother and Midge out on their inner tubes every afternoon at 3pm for their daily swim or they would sit up on the swing with their coffee and talk for hours. The 2 of them are now together catching up on old times looking down on all of us and seeing how we all turned out. God Bless those near and dear to us that have gone to a better place.

I love you and miss you so much already Grandma. I will always remember baking/decorating cakes with you, summers at the cottage, trips to Watkins Glen and in to Geneva to get fruit leather and other random stuff. Trips to the Windmill and always getting maple suger candy. Learning how apple cider is made at the Whittier Rd Fruit Farm. Walking out to the back lot to pick rhubarb and find tadpoles. Walks up to Mr. Owen's farms to pet the cows, then continuing to the cherry tree to see if there are any there. Stopping what seemed like thousands of times to talk to people on our walks on the beach at the cottage. Going out in the canoe. Playing tubaruba and with the big box of barbies in your living room. Always knowing that you would be at my choir concerts, plays, and dance recitals. More recently...our talks on the swing, visiting you at home, drinking wine from the bottle on Christmas eve (which turned out to be a great picture!), visiting the zoo with mom, dad, and Osis, our trip to the farmer's market, and always trying to find the perfect piggy for you for Christmas. I am so thankful that you were here for such a long time so that I can have these memories to look back on. I love you very much Grandma. Enjoy spending your days floating on Seneca Lake in your tube and eating all of the clams and crab legs and sweets that you can eat in Heaven :) I love you and miss you Grandma

Thanks, so very much, for dedicating your free time in trying to harness musical talent in about a dozen wild kids, for church services. I remember, as if it were yesterday, standing to the right of the altar, with the rest of us hellions, and admiring the Christmas decor. What a wonderful memory!!
Sleep in heavenly peace.

Your Mom was always so patient with me when I would get homesick on girl scout campouts. She would walk and talk with me until I would calm down. Without that I'm sure I would have not been able to go on as many trips. I am sorry for your loss. I hope your many wonderful memories bring you comfort.
