Obituary of Phyllis Boughner
Brockport: Entered into everlasting peace with the Lord on December 4, 2013. Phyllis is pre-deceased by her parents, Merton & Viola Miller of Bergen, NY; beloved brother & his wife, Holden & Helen Miller; their sons, Ronald & Harold; brothers-in-law, Kenneth, Arnold, & Donald Boughner; sister-in-law, S. Elizabeth Boughner; nephew-in-law, Ned Wermuth; and by her cherished, devoted and brave grandson, Sean Christopher Dusinberre and his son, Dylan Dusinberre. She is survived by her most beloved and cherished family, Harold, husband of 66 years; daughter, Denise (John) Dusinberre; son, Douglas (and longtime girlfriend, Cathy Bishop), son, Darrell (Carol); six grandchildren, Michelle (Anthony) Liberatore, Danielle (Ehad) Sahar, Thomas Boughner, Jamie (Craig) LaFave, Alyssa Boughner, & Taylor Boughner; four great-grandchildren, Joshua & Brett Dusinberre, Morgan & Kailin Liberatore; one loving and devoted brother, M. Tracy (Loretta) Miller; one special brother-in-law, Gene R. (Ellen) Boughner; sisters-in-law, Ann Boughner & Donna Woods; and several dearly loved nieces, nephews, cousins, & treasured friends. Phyllis was a member of the Churchville United Methodist Church, the Slater Society of the University of Rochester, and a life member of Wolatka Chapter #320 O.E.S. Phyllis was valedictorian of her senior class and went on to major in chemistry at the U of R, where she received many honors. After raising her 3 children, she joined the family business, H.V. Boughner & Co. in 1972 and retired in 1984. A heartfelt thank you to Spencerport's Wedgewood Nursing Home and Lifetime Care for their compassionate and exceptional care.
Phyllis' family will receive friends Monday from 11 AM-1 PM at the funeral home, 21 S. Main St, Churchville, where a brief service will follow with Pastor Douglas Hess officiating. Interment in Creekside Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Churchville United Methodist Church, 24 W Buffalo St, Churchville, NY 14428 or a charity of your choice in Phyllis' memory.
