Obituary of Betty McAllister

Spencerport: January 25, 2014 at age 89. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Fran; brother, Edward McKinney. Survived by daughters, Barbara (Dan) O'Bine and Beth McNall (Paul Sirianni); grandchildren, Jennifer Kranenberg & Christopher Sheldon; Matt McNall, Laurel McNall (Tim Muck), & Kayla McNall; 3 great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Kranenberg; Ella & Owen McNall; step-grandchildren, Timothy (Alisa) O'Bine, Matthew O'Bine & Kelly O'Bine; special sister, Shirley Quinn; lifetime friend, Reita Getman; granddog, Bubby. Betty was a nurse at several doctor's offices and Trowbridge School, which exemplified her caring and compassionate nature. She volunteered for many years at Spencerport Volunteer Ambulance and Lakeside Hospital. Betty was a member at Spencerport United Methodist Church, where she had been a member since 1936. She was the ultimate people person and dog lover. Betty was so blessed to be cared for so lovingly by the staff at Westwood Commons. Betty's visitation is 5-8 PM on Friday at the funeral home, 15 West Ave. in Spencerport. Her Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held at Spencerport United Methodist Church, 32 Amity Street in Spencerport, Saturday at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted to the Spencerport Volunteer Ambulance, the Spencerport United Methodist Church or Anna's Wish, www.annaswish.org
