I remember when I was a child, we used to walk down what I used to call the yellow brick path that led from the driveway to the house that my grandparents lived in. Grandma and I would be walking down it talking about anything and everything, one day I said to her "Grammy, I can't wait to have kids so they can come and walk this path with you" her reply was " Oh. honey, I'm sure I won't be around to see that." Boy, was she wrong....she lived long enough to watch me grow, have 2 children and 2 grandchildren of my own. Sadly, she didn't get to meet my second granddaughter but, I know she watches them from above. We also enjoyed watching the chipmunks with hard hats during the summer[LOL] I have many stories to tell but, then that would make a book...
