Obituary of Rosemarie Murphy

February 20, 2014 at the age of 84. Rosemarie was a devoted mother, grandmother, and soon-to-be great-grandmother. Predeceased by her husband, Kenneth and brother, Daniel Chmielecki; parents, Casimer & Rose (Zarzecki) Chmielecki. Survived by her daughters, Marleen Murphy Mark (Roger) and Dawn Murphy Bruton (Peter); grandsons, Nick Bruton (Ashlee), Shaughn Bruton, Benjamin Mark and Kenneth Mark; sister, Maxine Smith of East Aurora. Life highlights: Admiral's secretary U.S. Navy Dept. Washington, D.C.; Spencerport Area Girl Scout Coordinator, Leader, and Founder of Local Camporee; member of American Legion Auxiliary Post #330; longtime employee of Case Hoyt; avid supporter of animals and wildlife. Visitation will be 3-7PM on Friday at Walker Brothers Funeral Home, 15 West Avenue, Spencerport. Rosemarie's Funeral Mass will be Saturday at 9:30AM at St. John the Evangelist of Spencerport, 55 Martha Street. Interment St. John's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450 in Rosemarie's memory.
