We'll always remember you, Uncle Jim. That smile, that smirk, especially when you said something maybe you shouldn't have.
You have had quite an influence on me. When our family visited yours one time, I remember that you showed me some of Jimmy's college textbooks. One that stood out was Calculus with Analytical Geometry. For a kid in sixth grade, I had no clue what the hell that was about, but I always remember that book. For my first semester in college, you said if I made the Dean's List that you would buy me a calculator and make a stand for it. What a gift. These are two reasons, I am sure, for my going into science.
Barb and I will never forget the trip you and Aunt Lena made to Alaska. You called us when you arrived in Fairbanks after driving nearly 4,000 miles, and we all had a great 50 min together before you had to get back on the road!
Miss you, Uncle Jim.
Love,
Todd and Barb

Dear Aunt Lena, Ann Marie, Tina & Jim, You have all been in my thoughts and prayers, and Uncle Jim will be missed. I will never forget Uncle Jim how you'd always say to me, "Who are you again"? Made me laugh all the time.....You will be missed, and I thank you for being such a great Uncle. You're in good company with Uncle Larry, Grandma, Grandpa, and your sister Alice. Love you all, Raelene
