Obituary of James Wolan

March 21, 2014. Passed away this past Friday following a very brief illness. Born in Batavia, NY, he is predeceased by his parents, Stanley & Lorraine Wolan; and his wife, Susan (Scroger). Jim is survived by his children, James (Manisha) Wolan & Erin (Robert) Silvarole; grandchildren, Kristopher Wolan & Lillian Silvarole. Jim served as a United States Customs Inspector for 33 years. Visitation is 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home, 21 South Main St in Churchville. Burial is private. All are encouraged to bring a small written memory of Jim for the family to hold in remembrance for his grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Jim's memory.
