She always enjoyed spending time downtown. Some of her other favorite activities included sewing, shopping (especially shoe shopping), taking walks, and boating on Braddocks Bay and Lake Ontario. Kathryn like to play Michigan Rummy and played cards every Saturday night. Her faith was also very important to her, and she loved birds. She even had a Myna bird and parrots in her home. In her spare time, Kathryn liked listening to country music, watching Lawrence Welk and old movies on tv, and always read the newspaper cover to cover. Family and friends would best describe Kathryn as someone who was feisty, caring, independent, and loved her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
