Obituary of Jay Alexander

Wednesday, July 9, 2014. He is the son of the late William R. and Eloise (Blatchford) Alexander. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Winner) Alexander; his cat, Baby; brothers, William (Rachel), Larry (Jeanne), John (Margaret), Stephen (Michelle) & Daniel (Lorraine) Alexander; brother-in-law, Jeffrey Winner, Walter (Susan) Winner & sister-in-law, Belle Viola (Donald Badough); several nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews; special nephew, Bill Alexander; good friends, Charlie Campanella, Leroy Earsing & Tim Kelso. Jay was the former owner of Alexander's IGA and owner of Jakes Pub & Grill in North Chili. A memorial gathering will be held 1:00 -5:00 PM on Sunday, July 20 at Jakes Pub & Grill, 4390 Buffalo Rd, N. Chili, NY. Donations may be sent to the Aurora House, 2495 S. Union St, Spencerport, NY 14559 in Jay's memory.
