Obituary of Andrew Bliss

Fredericksburg, VA: March 31, 1989-August 8, 2014. After a courageous battle with cancer & surrounded by his family, Andrew went to heaven. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Mary K. Bliss, Norman Ashworth; great-grandmothers, Virginia Bell & Katherine Sterle. Survived by his parents, Foster & Wendy Bliss; brother, Alexander Bliss; grandmother, Carol Ashworth; grandfather, James H. Bliss; uncle, Norman Ashworth Jr.; aunt, Joanne (Steve) Billings; great-uncle, William (Stephanie) Bell; several cousins, aunts, uncles & many friends. Andrew was active in his church group, a bicyclist, ultra-marathon runner & participant in the Special Olympics. Andrew's visitation will be held 4-7 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home, 15 West Ave in Spencerport. His funeral service will be celebrated 11AM on Wednesday at Spencerport United Methodist Church, 32 Amity St, Spencerport NY 14559. Interment Garland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Special Olympics Virginia Area 11, PO Box 218, Fredericksburg VA 22404 in Andrew's memory.
