Obituary of Edwin Foster

November 11, 2014 at age 90. Predeceased by his wife, Jeanette E. Foster; great-granddaughter, Carmella Marie Burke; brothers, William, Donald, Walter, and John Richard Foster. He is survived by his children, John (Shahin Monshipour) Foster, Margaret (John) Burke, Bernadette (David Russell) Foster, Patricia (Charles) Zambito; grandchildren, Tina, Susan, John Patrick, Sarah, Justin, Elizabeth, Meredith, Jeanette, Anthony, Allison; great-grandchildren, Ian, Claire and Navid; sister, Margie Ryan; sister-in-law, Doris Foster. Edwin was a WWII Air Force Veteran. He graduated from St. Bonaventure University and the University of Buffalo Law School. He was a practicing attorney since 1953 and he was former Parma Town Justice, Parma Town Counselman, Supervisor of the Town of Parma, Monroe County Legislator District 1 and President of the Monroe County Legislature. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of the Jewish Home of Rochester for their exceptional care and dedication. No Prior Visitation. Edwin's funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Friday at St. Leo the Great Church, 167 Lake Avenue, Hilton. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Leo's Church in Edwin's memory.
