Obituary of Lucy Downs

Spencerport: April 20, 2015 at age 99. Lucy was predeceased by husband, Thomas; son, James and brother, Melvin Harris. Survived by son, Thomas (Nancy) and their children Jennifer Downs-Paquin (Edward) and Jason (Lisa); grandchildren, Travis (Stacy) and Chandra and their mother, Linda; nieces & nephews; four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her beloved cat, Jake. Following her graduation from Westfield Normal School and an initial teaching job in Deerfield, MA, she worked for Strong Memorial Hospital for 32 years until her retirement. As per her wishes, there will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at Walker Brothers Funeral Home, 15 West Ave, Spencerport, NY on June 28th at 2 PM.
