Obituary of Anita Bruton

Bruton, Anita J. Sebastian, FL/Churchville: June 6, 2016 Anita died peacefully at the hospice house in Vero Beach, Florida at the age of 83. She was born in Bethlehem, PA on October 19, 1932. She moved to Churchville, NY in 1946 with her parents Mr. & Mrs. Paul Buss and her brother David. She graduated from Churchville High School in 1950. Anita worked at Fairbanks Road Elementary School as the school secretary for 27 years. She attended St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church. Anita and her husband Verner had a summer home in the Thousand Islands before retiring to Sebastian, Florida in 1992. Anita is survived by her husband of 64 years, Verner Bruton; her children, John (Mary), Dawn (Bruce) and Kevin (Debbie); 4 grandsons; brother, David Buss. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 am at St. Vincent DePaul Church 11 N. Main St. Churchville. Interment in St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Churchville American Legion or Churchville Fire Department in Anita’s memory.
