I manage the volunteer program where Fred volunteered the last three years. Fred had such a giving, loving heart. The staff at the Hildebrandt adored Fred. He will be missed. "A luminous light remains where a beautiful sould has passed."

Fred, I'm at a loss for words...I am so thankful to have known you. We had so many great talks and funny stories to share. I am going to miss you like you wouldn't believe!!! I still laugh about how you wanted me to come over every other week to clean your house and it was always spotless! You embraced my kids as though they were your own family. We are all REALLY going to miss you.

I had the great pleasure of knowing Fred Sr. for most of my life. I have so many memories growing up along the side of his own children with Fred Jr. being my closest friend. As if that wasn’t enough we worked together for 17ys at Case Hoyt. So when I say I got stories to tell, well there are many of them & one funnier then the next. Thanks Fred for all the memories & for your friendship. I will never forget these stories & I will never forget you. May you rest in peace. Celebrate your reunion with your loves ones in heaven & may you also watch over the ones you left behind. Dave Battista-

This is a tremendous loss for me Fred. We were on a journey that held so much promise. I guess your Margaritaville man-cave just wasn't meant to be. I will miss your gentle touch and simplistic approach to live. XOXOXOXOXO

I spent 31 years at Case-Hoyt working with Fred. He was unique and added a lot of fun to us at work and out. He would always tell it like it was and then laugh about it later.I am sure all of us at Case-Hoyt who spent many years together feel this loss. He loved life and his family whom he talked about often. You had to know him to love him.Such a fun guy who will be gretky missed by family and friends.

more thoughts of Fred.....He was a truly simple man who had a deep love for family. He had such a generous spirit, always willing to give yet expecting NOTHING in return. He accepted people for who they were, slow to criticize. He absolutely adored his grandchildren and filled his home with pictures and memories...they were everywhere you looked. He had loyal friends who would stand by him, no matter what. In my eyes, this really is the true measure of a man. He will be greatly missed.
